APPLESAUCE MEATBALLS
Mix together lightly:
1 lb ground beef
½ cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 Tablespoons grated onion
½ cup applesauce (unsweetened)
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Form into 2” balls. Brown in frying pan with a little oil. Place in baking dish.
Mix together: ¼ cup catsup and ¼ cup water. Pour over meatballs. Cover. Bake at 350º for one hour. Serve hot.
